Cristy Hatton: My inspiration to become athletically fit and enter sports at a young age is mostly owed to my sister. Since the girls on her softball team were much older, I had to work harder. As a result I spent my last two years of college playing softball at Oregon State University. The coaching and training I received taught me how to push my physical ability and limits safely beyond what I would ever have thought possible.
Having just graduated with a BS in Exercise and Sport Science I hope to leverage my education and experience in sports, by educating others how to safely exceed their goals and surpass their limitations, and as a result, become healthier and physically fit from the experience.

Mike Bounyavong: I have been physically active for my entire life. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest offered a wide range of outdoor activities and I’ve always managed to stay busy. Growing up I spent a lot of time camping, fishing, rock climbing and rafting. Later, I graduated from Ashmead College’s fitness training program. When I’m in the gym I work towards peak physical conditioning and an excellent healthy lifestyle. While with clients I provide a safe, comfortable atmosphere where my knowledge can help not only meet your goals, but surpass them.

Gary Black: Motivation, intensity and results are part of my daily routine, and working as a personal trainer I believe that you must train with the same outlook. As a sports competitor in high school and college football, I have learned to push myself to get my goals accomplished and it is very important to me that I help you reach your goals to live a healthy and fit life style. No Intensity, No Results, and I’ll help add the motivation.

Colin Runt: I grew up playing all kinds of sports. Early on in high school I fell in love with weight training and fitness when I realized it could make me a better athlete. I got recruited to play baseball out of high school at Penn State University where I continued to learn more and more about fitness. I eventually realized it was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life, and minored in Kinesiology. After college I moved out to Portland and was here for a year and half before meeting John and Matt- which completely changed my entire attitude and outlook on training. My whole career in training I thought I was maximizing my workouts, but after learning the physiological-based training that John and Matt specialize in, I realized I was nowhere close. I've learned more in the last 4 months than I had in the previous 7 years, and I continue to learn more each day.
